When I finally hit my breaking point, when I finally decided I was going to find my wife come hell or high water, I asked myself two simple questions:
How serious am I really? (REALLY SERIOUS)
And if really serious, how much would I be willing pay to find a wife? (Anything within my power)
This helped me prioritize. If I was really serious and money was not a consideration, then I was able to feel good about spending money on finding a wife. I paid for the highest level subscriptions on the matchmaking sites I was using. I paid for translation services to translate my bio and other documents into Russian. I bought guide books on how to be successful finding a foreign wife.
I was willing and ready to spend the money on travel to go visit my intended bride as soon as we chose each other.
In short, I invested not just time, but hard cash into finding a wife. It was that important to me. And I’m glad I did because I found her, and she’s made me happy every day since.
